There is no true limit to the number of people that can play, although a group of 2 to 4 is likley to be ideal. One person will have the app on their phone, and can share screen shots of the puzzles with teammates that are helping to find the solution.

Speaking of screen shots (from the previous question) screen shots can be a great way to save images that appear when using the Scan button in the App.   In fact there is a camera icon displayed on the App screen for just that purpose. Clicking the camera icon will save a copy of the image in your photos, create for sharing or zooming in!

Yes!  To solve the hunt it is expected that you will travel around the town that is the subject of a given hunt.  Part of the experience is physically experiencing points of interest and history in our beautiful towns.

No!  Once you have purchased the hunt, it will remain in your list of hunts.  You can complete the hunt in one day or over several months.  There is no timer or expiration. 

The hunts have been carefully designed to bring players to safe locations.  There is no need to enter any body of water, make a dangerous climb, etc.  It possible that some of the locations will require walking on uneven surfaces (dirt, cobblestones, stairs).  Inclement weather, particularly snow, may impact the hunt. It is possible that a clue could be at or near ground level. Snow on a monument that you are Scanning may require that the snow be brushed away.

There is one cash prize per hunt. The amount of the prize is shown on the first screen for each hunt, where it will also state if that prize has been claimed or not. For some players, competing for the prize will be a central component; however, it is expected that many players will enjoy the game more after the prize has been claimed and the hint system is operational.

Can I get a hint?  Maybe.  No hints are available to assist with solving the puzzles until after the Grand Prize has been claimed. This may take hours, days or months - we really do not know.

After the grand prize has been claimed, the hint system will automatically open to all players.  Please use these hints to make your day of exploration enjoyable!

Still befuddled?  No problem. Each puzzle has 3 hints available within the App.  After those hints have been reviewed, you may skip the puzzle to view the answer.
